Production Coordinator at Tao Group

The production coordinator role works within the Marketing Department to assist in the conceptualization, planning and execution of marketing events and initiatives, content photoshoots and creative production inside Tao Group Hospitality’s nightclubs, dayclubs and restaurants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Secures, transports and organizes costumes, props, performers, and decor for shows, marketing events, photo/video shoots, brand activations and any Marketing initiatives requiring any of the above.
  • Oversees and maintains organization of Production inventory including promotional items / swag, costume, décor and props at all company storage units and with vendors
  • Liaising with vendors handling costumes and décor.
  • Collaborates with marketing team on the conceptualizing, planning and execution of all marketing events and initiatives
  • Works with Event Marketing Director to track Production budgets and allocation of resources.
  • Creates Production calendar and timelines for work completion and any necessary documents required for Marketing-related Production functions (Ex: purchase orders, inventory sheets, mood boards, proposals, production schedules, sponsorship decks, etc.)
  • Creates all Event Operational Notes (EONs) / run of shows and schedules weekly review with all necessary departments to ensure proper execution in venues.
  • Bids out vendors, labor and services for Marketing-related Production initiatives
  • Weekly maintenance of all in-venue décor and props commissioned by Marketing (Ex: photo backdrops, signage, advertising wall wraps, social media photo areas, etc.)
  • Hires and manages outsourced production crews for Marketing-related in-venue load ins / builds / removals / load outs.
  • Onsite contact for all décor load ins / builds / strikes / load outs
  • Oversees repair and maintenance of props, costumes and décor.
  • Assists Marketing team with onsite marketing event and activation execution as needed
  • Be able to manage a team of internal and external employees.
  • Have a positive, professional attitude.
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned


EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong communication & creative skills.
  • Prior marketing, events, production, hospitality, and nightlife experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma Required or equivalent and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
  • 21+ years of age 
  • Understanding of Social Networks and emerging industry-related technologies and trends.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • 5-25% Local Travel (United States) 
  • May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
