POSITION SUMMARY: The Event Operation Stagehand is responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment, assisting with stage production for live acts, client presentations and special event preparations. The Stagehand plays a crucial role paying close attention to detail and ensuring smooth production transitions. They work behind the scenes to support the overall performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist in Banquet Special Event production preparations
- Assist in Banquet Special Event production cleaning and inventory of AV equipment
- Assists the Dir. of Events AV with setting stage and coordinating performers décor, load ins and load outs
- Assists the Dir. of Events AV to keep the Special Events AV equipment ready for every show
- Assists and/or completes additional tasks as assigned
- Collaborates with Technicians, and other stagehands to maintain a smooth flow of events
- Collaborates with the Special Events Managers for any last minute client requests
- Handles the organization and routing of cabling to ensure a neat and safe venue
- Provide weekly job status for ongoing projects
- Maintain weekly inventory of Special Event AV materials
- Motivate employees by creating and maintaining a positive work environment
- Enforce company and department policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in meetings regarding upcoming or current projects
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
- Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 2+ years’ experience preferred working in production or as a production assistant
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSX
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of basic electronic systems
