Our beverage director ensures a high-quality experience for guests and oversees complex operations.
- The Beverage Director develops drink menus, proposes new cocktails, and curates the wine lists.
- The Beverage Director trains and educates staff in cocktail making, wine, and liquor knowledge.
- The Beverage Director acts as a liaison to guests and creates menu wine pairings.
- The Beverage Director achieves stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Required skills and qualifications to be a Beverage Director with Eleven:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Able to pass a background screening
- 1 year of bartending experience
- 3 years of experience in front of house assistant management positions
- Wine education and wine list and inventory management experience
- Knowledge of service, food, and beverage, generally involving at least three years of front of house operations, service, and/or assistant management positions
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
Physical requirements for Beverage Director with Eleven:
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
