Bartender at Luchini Las Vegas

Now Hiring – Luchini Las Vegas a casually refined Italian-American restaurant, opening this fall within MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

The Bartender should exude passion for anticipating and creating drinks. Expedites guests’ drink orders and mixes and prepares and serves alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks to all guests in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub atmosphere. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service always. This job description is a summary of duties however it is by no means an all-inclusive list. It is merely a broad guide to the expected duties of the position. 


  • Working knowledge of portion control and product identification 
  • Answer questions about beverage/food and other company functions and services 
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes 
  • Take orders for beverages from guests 
  • Responsible for accurately checking guest identification 
  • Provide service to cocktail servers in a timely manner 
  • Check beverage and food orders prior to serving to ensure that they are correct, properly presented, and that special requests have been met 
  • Communicate orders through POS terminal immediately 
  • Follow given drink recipes when dispensing drinks. Garnish beverages as needed per company standards and recipes 
  • Deliver beverage orders promptly 
  • Organize and prioritize service per appropriate sequence of service 
  • Prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions and process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps, and all other tender types 
  • Uphold procedures for Bartender/Mixologist banks 
  • Responsible for proper check–out procedures 
  • Responsible to ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies 
  • Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time 
  • Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items 
  • Keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc. throughout shift. Clean all spills and waste immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles 
  • Proper set up and maintenance of banquet function spaces 
  • Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident 
  • Ability to create and maintain service rapport through The Company Corporate philosophy 
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner 
  • Anticipate guest needs. Provide information to Guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing 
  • Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain all Company Sequence of Service Standards 
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift 
  • Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations 
  • Respond to Guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude
  • Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated 
  • Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a Manager’s attention 
  • Refuse further service of alcohol to overly intoxicated Guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws. 
  • Maintain company safety and sanitation standards 
  • Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed 
  • Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately 
  • Assist all other team members as needed 
  • Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned


  • Tao Group Hospitality in-venue training 


  • High School Diploma preferred 
  • Knowledge of drink recipes 
  • Beer, wine, spirits, and cigar brands 
  • Opening and closing duties 
  • Guest relations 
  • Sanitation and safety 
  • Safe alcohol service 
  • Beverage presentation Previous bar experience preferred
