The Coat Check Attendant provides speedy and accurate service to our guests when handling their personal belongings in a fast-paced pool / nightclub environment. The Coat Check Attendant is friendly while dealing with guests, answers questions and tenders checks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in a high-volume pool / night club atmosphere. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Hangs and organizes coats and other guest belongings within the designated order system
- Records and maintains guests checked-in belongings through a ticketing system
- Responsible for control of coat check tickets and proper care and custody of guest garments
- Returns personal belongings to guests in an orderly and efficient manner
- Respond to Guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
- Refers all unusual requests to Manager for proper handling
- Processes all payments including room charges, cash, credit card, comps etc
- Anticipate Guest needs
- Adhere to all company SOPs
- Maintain all company service sequence standards
- Greet all Guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude
- Provide information to Guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing
- Recognize and cultivate regular Guests and repeat business
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift
- Ability to communicate in English with Guests and co-workers
- Provide Guests with information and directions
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma Required or equivalent
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 0-3 years of experience in hospitality working in a high volume restaurant
- 21+ years of age
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
- Possession of/or ability to possess a valid NV Alcohol awareness card and NV Health Card
