Catering Sales Coordinator at Patina Catering

The Opportunity 

Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring for a full-time Catering Sales Coordinator to join our team at KFEF Catering in Los Angeles, California. As a Catering Sales Coordinator, you will partner with clients and catering teams to create and execute group events for our guests at the KFEF Catering.


Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (Occasional nights and weekends)

Minimum pay rate: $22.00 / hour

  • Respond to catering leads, draft, detail, and distribute event orders and changes, handle all third-party rentals for groups and manage deposit schedules for booked events.
  • Assist with the initial lead response, sending menus, standard event details, and photos of the hotel, record keeping, and inventory management.
  • Manage inventory and generate merged documents such as proposals, contracts, and detail for manager review.
  • Assist with posting banquet revenue, review banquet checks for accuracy, and assist the International Sales Manager with property site visits.
  • Work closely with other departments to coordinate details, special requests, VIP packages, and promotions.
  • Answer telephone calls and handle inquiries professionally and perform any other reasonable duties as required by the International Sales Manager, Revenue Manager, General Manager, and Food and Beverage Banquet Team.


  • Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel; experience with hotel property management systems a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales or administrative or coordinator experience required, preferably in a hotel capacity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and attention to detail skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Some college: previous hotel or restaurant customer service experience preferred.
