The Opportunity 

Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is searching for part-time Banquet Bartenders to join us at Patina 250 in Buffalo, New York. Banquet Bartenders are responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at banquets and events responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience at all times.

Event schedules vary on event and event type.

The restaurant interior offers a refined, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy drinks, shared plates or a full dining experience. Local artists’ work contributes to the modern mood with paintings, elaborate light fixtures and a sculptural wall installation.

Responsibilities 

• Sets up portable bar with all the appropriate items as ordered and requested, including garnishes, glassware, ice, liquor, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
• Pulls and sets up wine and champagne service for banquet servers for meal functions.
• Maintains bar supplies and glassware throughout the banquet function.
• Maintains a clean bar and surrounding area.
• Knows drink recipes, prices, types of beverages available.
• Measures all drinks using a shot glass and encourages sales to patrons of the function.
• Properly records all spoilage, breakage, or spillage.
• After function, breaks down the portable bar, returns the liquor to secured location.
• Is responsible for ensuring all bar billing is accurate and all money drops are done at the end of the shift.
• Is aware of, adheres to, local liquor laws and regulations.

Qualifications 

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of experience bartending.
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing required.
• Previous experience using computerized POS system required.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift.
• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Bar environment- noise level may be moderate to high dur
