Supervisor, Security Operations Center at TAO Nightclub

The SOC Supervisor, (the Supervisor) will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining surveillance systems at the venue-level, ensuring the security and safety of the organization. The Supervisor’s position will include monitoring live feeds, reviewing recorded footage, identifying potential risks, and ensuring providing detailed documentation. The Supervisor will assist in the management of Security SOC operators, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures; ensuring detailed documentation of incidents; and maintaining equipment in optimal condition. Additionally, the Supervisor will assist management on the scheduling of SOC operators. In this role the Supervisor will coordinate the detailed documentation of weekly incidents through optimum efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Monitor live surveillance feeds and review recorded footage to identify suspicious activities, security breaches, or potential risks to the organization. Maintain a proactive approach to surveillance and ensure appropriate actions are taken when necessary.
  • Create and manage schedules for SOC operators based on operational requirements, ensuring adequate coverage for surveillance activities.
  • Review and approve timecards for SOC operators, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that SOC policies and procedures are being followed by SOC operators, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Possess a detailed understanding of the organization's property surveillance architecture, including camera locations, access control lists, repair, and maintenance logs.
  • Call for service and coordinate repairs or maintenance for surveillance equipment when directed to do so.
  • Contribute where directed to the creation of compliance-directed policies and compliance submissions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Make priority and routine notifications to stakeholders and your direct supervisor
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Previous experience in surveillance operations in a Gaming environment or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively schedule and manage SOC operators.
  • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and related technologies, including cameras, monitors, and recording systems.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of compliance standards, particularly Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) Regulation 5.300 through 5.380 & (NGCB) Surveillance Standards for Nonrestricted Licensees, specifically Standard 11 and Standard 12 and ensure adherence to these requirements.
  • Possess a basic understanding of applicable warranty and service subscription terms and protections for surveillance equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks or suspicious activities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Visiting sites and touring areas where security equipment is installed which may require climbing. Typical office environment involving sitting for long periods of time and using a computer.
  • May be required to work evenings/weekends/holidays as appropriate.
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
  • 21+ years of age
