Seasonal Banquet Server at Patina 250

The Opportunity 

Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring seasonal part-time Banquet Servers to join our team at Patina 250 in Buffalo, New York. As a Banquet Server you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that Patina 250 guests' needs are being met in apositive, efficient, and courteous manner.The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

$200 Referral bonus for all current associates. Refer someone who is successfully hired into this role for 15 hours worked and receive a $200 referral bonus.

Responsibilities 

• Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order
• Accurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Performs necessary tasks to service guests including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing of dirty dishes
• Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints
• Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable)
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates
• Breaks down event according to company procedures

Qualifications 

• Must be 18 or older
• Minimum of 3 months' previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
• Excellent guest service skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for entire length of shift
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Mobility to maneuver between tables
