Job Description
Multiple James Beard Award-winning Restauranteurs Stephen Starr and Keith McNally partnered together for the revival of Pastis, the legendary French restaurant that crafted the Meatpacking District into the dining destination it is today. Pastis features elements similar to the original such as the restaurant’s classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and a mosaic-tiled floor. Guests can find the classic bistro fare Pastis was known for, with a menu that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch.
Now seeking a Pastry Cook who is detailed oriented, has a passion for learning, and a love for all things desserts!

Requirements
- Punctual, Hard-working, and Dependable
- 1+ years of Pastry Cook experience in reputable high-volume and upscale restaurants
- Ability to manage a station from prep to service
- Experience in dessert and pastry production, especially classic French techniques
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail in plating
- Comfortable tempering chocolate, making meringues, whipping cream, etc
- Full-time and flexible availability – including Weekend availability preferred
