Position Duties and Responsibilities Summary
The person in this role will prepare plated desserts? components, fillings, sauces, and specialty items, according to the recipe and/or chef?s instructions, measuring and mixing ingredients appropriately while following all proper procedures, adjusting temperatures and properly wrapping and labeling all finished products, as required.
This role is also responsible for assisting the Executive Pastry Chef in setting up tastings, maintaining and updating recipe book(s), determining pars needed for week?s production, working with Pantry to ensure proper plating and product storage, working with Executive Pastry Chef to prepare special events and holiday desserts and assisting with recipe creations, as requested.
