The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will support the Director of FP&A in NY with day-to-day reporting and analysis. The role will assist in implementing supplemental routine reporting and reviewing projects produced by the team. This is a global role with a scope of work including both venue level and corporate analysis. This will serve to assist senior leadership’s decision making, improve the guest experience, and assist in the execution of TAO Group Hospitality’s long-term plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Creating summaries and presentations of final projects that depicts both the quantitative key performance indicators and situational narrative/analysis that conveys a clear story.
- Coordinating with FP&A team members, operations leaders, and cross-department co-workers on various requests to fulfill objectives and deliver the final product to senior leadership as needed.
- Working closely with various stakeholders to support the companywide annual budget process every step of the way, concluding the process with consolidated reports including but not limited to P&L, Cash Flow, and Summary Statement of Operations.
- Supporting the secondary budget process for managed venues on a different fiscal calendar, as determined by management agreements.
- Revising the monthly companywide reforecast and supporting improvements to the process.
- Conducting monthly analysis on financial results.
- Improving existing daily reporting; developing new and meaningful daily reporting.
- Regularly building Excel templates for new and recurring tasks or projects.
- Reviewing new and existing Excel templates or final products for errors, clarity, and improvements.
- Using data to make recommendations and provide insight as needed.
- Demonstrate understanding of internal controls and accounting principles to ensure consistency between portfolio brands for FP&A consolidation of analysis.
- Conducting research and analysis into questions raised by senior leadership.
- Collecting, consolidating, and/or analyzing the various pieces required for everything from the budget to forecasts and ad hoc requests.
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma Required or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree with a Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration emphasis and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and country which applied
- Valid Driver’s License or Government issued ID
- 21+ years of age
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to The Company standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs with proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint; with the ability to create reports from raw data using multiple program functions
- Regularly exhibits and applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be self-driven, curious, collaborative, organized, and detail oriented
- Must balance timeliness with accuracy
