Masaharu Morimoto’s flagship restaurant, Morimoto, affiliated with STARR Restaurants, serves as a showcase for the world-renowned chef’s exhilarating cuisine. Drawing inspiration from both Japanese tradition and Western culinary techniques, Morimoto unlocks hidden layers of flavor on every plate from an a la carte meal to an opulent omakase (tasting menu), pristine sushi, sashimi and maki.


The team is seeking a talented Executive Pastry Chef!

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • 4-6 years of pastry experience and great knowledge of breads, cakes, pastries and everything in between.
  • Creative in their approach to developing a seasonal pastry menu that is inspired by the restaurant's concept
  • Have a true sense of craft and handiwork
  • Energetic and enthusiastic and possess strong communication and organizational skills
  • Effective at managing a diverse hourly staff
  • A solid understanding of all aspects of a top Pastry Department operation
  • Must be energetic and enthusiastic and possess strong communication and organizational skills
  • Prior degree in Baking and/or Pastry from an accredited culinary university preferred
