Concessions Runner at 2023 PGA Championship

The Opportunity 

Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is hiring temporary part-time Cocessions Runners to work the 2023 PGA Championship located at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. Ideal candidates are committed, communicative team players with excellent time management, organizational skills, and excellence in service to create a memorable guest experience.

Minimum pay rate: $20.00 / hour

Delaware North’s “Commitment to Care” is a comprehensive program created to help keep guests and employees safe and slow the spread of COVID-19. We have reengineered our operating procedures to minimize contact risk and bolstered hygiene protocols to exceed best-practice guidelines of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Responsibilities 

• Receiving shipments, stocking product, and delivering products to designated locations.
• Perform any combination of light cleaning duties around the work area, both inside and out.
• Organizing product storage areas.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.  
• Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Distribute all recyclables into proper containers.  
• Observe precautions required to protect staff and guests on property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications 

• At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse or stocking environment.
• Available leading up to and during the event, May 15-21.
• Ability to operate a utility vehicle and pull/back up trailers are ideal, but not required.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Ability to pull heavy carts and stock through facility.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and other ranges of motion for extended time.
• Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures.
