Two James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs, Keith McNally, and Stephen Starr collaborated on the reopening of the iconic French Brasserie concept Pastis in NYC. We are thrilled to share Pastis’ success and expansion to the Wynwood District of Miami in February ’23.

We are in search of a Chef de Cuisine who knows how to lead a top-notch team and has a passion for delicious, flavorful food executed and served with care and consistency.


Pastis Miami
 will feature some of the many elements it’s known and loved for. The dining room features a classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and mosaic-tiled floors. The expansive space, inclusive of a breathtaking glass-covered patio, will welcome guests to enjoy exceptional French fare in a timeless Parisian brasserie, no matter the weather.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in well-rated, industry leading kitchens
  • Strong command of high-end cuisine and thorough business management skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
  • Brings energy and enthusiasm to the workplace
  • Possesses strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in expediting a high-volume kitchen
  • Prior experience training and mentoring a diverse kitchen staff
  • Driven towards consistency and service excellence
  • Strong written and computer skills
