Bar Manager at Pastis

Multiple James Beard Award-winning Restauranteurs Stephen Starr and Keith McNally partnered together for the revival of Pastis, the legendary French restaurant that crafted the Meatpacking District into the dining destination it is today. Pastis features elements similar to the original such as the restaurant’s classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and a mosaic-tiled floor.


Now seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to join our service team! In this role, you will become part of a collaborative team and have a focus on bar operations and service standards. You will also assist with managing an evolving beverage program from French wines, to beer, cocktails, and spirits.

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

  • A base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000

  • A positive and self-motivated disposition with a commitment to excellence and team success
  • At least 3 years of experience working with beverage programs and high-volume establishments
  • Experience managing a beer, cocktail, and spirits program
  • French wine knowledge desired; including strong familiarity with major Crus, Classified growths, and all major growing regions
  • Prior experience using a beverage inventory program preferred and strong computer skills
